Titans retire No. 0 jersey of Antoine Davis

Following the final men's basketball regular-season contest Feb. 25 at Calihan Hall, the University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Department of Athletics honored graduate senior , retiring his No. 0 jersey in a ceremony.
Davis, the nation's leading scorer at more than 28 points per game, has made national headlines in recent weeks in his pursuit of Pete Maravich's 53-year-old NCAA record for career points (3,667). Davis, who leads the country in several statistical categories, broke the NCAA mark for 3-pointers made in a career (588) earlier during the 2022-23 season.
The Titans won their first game in the Horizon League tournament, 81-68, over Purdue Fort Wayne, with Davis scoring 38 points in his final game at Calihan Hall. Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ was edged on the road in its next tournament game, 71-66, at Youngstown State with Davis finishing the game just three points shy of Maravich's record (3,664 career points).
Among those who were included in video and in-person tributes for Davis at Calihan Hall during the jersey retirement ceremony were Titan Hall of Famers Earl Cureton, Spencer Haywood, Eli Holman, Rashad Phillips and Terry Tyler.
Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ President Donald Taylor helped unveil the No. 0 banner with Davis during the ceremony. Davis was the 11th men's basketball student-athlete to have his number retired.
