Antoine Davis signs contract with NBA's Portland Trail Blazers

Former Titan men's basketball standout Antoine Davis officially made the next step in his basketball journey, signing a free-agent contract with the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA on Friday.
Davis will now compete for a spot on Portland's roster ahead of the 2023-24 season.
An All-American this past season, Davis holds four NCAA records following his prolific career and his 3,664 career points is second in NCAA history. Davis, a Communications Studies graduate, led the nation in scoring during his final season in the red, white and blue, averaging 28.2 points per game.
A five-time First Team All-Horizon League honoree, Davis was named the Horizon League Player of the Year for the second consecutive season following the 2022-23 season. His No. 0 jersey was also retired on Feb. 25 following his final regular-season home game at Calihan Hall.
He would go on to win the in late March on national television.
In its history, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ has seen 23 players compete in an NBA game.
