Biography
With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, relationship building and fundraising leadership, Teri Carroll likens her role to that of a concierge for philanthropy. As such, she works closely with donors to match their interests with opportunities that will benefit University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ students in the most meaningful way.
Carroll joined the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Advancement team in 2013 and has held director and senior director of Development roles in the School of Architecture, the College of Liberal Arts & Education and the College of Business Administration. In 2022, she was named the University’s director of Planned Giving and worked with alumni, donors and colleagues to honor their own educational experiences with charitable gifts from their estates.
In her quest to deepen the impact philanthropy can have on the lives of others, Carroll accepted the position of executive director of Development in 2024. As such, she is proud to lead a talented team of development and planned giving officers, guiding them in their shared mission to foster meaningful relationships with alumni and secure vital resources needed to serve future generations of Titans.
Carroll is a Presidential Scholar Awardee and graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
