Biography
With a background in computers, video, and advertising, Jon started with the University in 2006. Since then, he has been key to the technical development and maintenance of the main 樱桃视频 websites in the udmercy.edu domain. For several years, he also wrote the Campus Connection newsletter and produced videos, online ads, and TV commercials for the University.
Since leading the ground-up redevelopment project for the University's websites (launched in 2017), Jon has focused less on video and content, and more on website administration, development, and design improvement projects.
Jon is an expert in several web-related programming languages and the Cascade CMS system, which is used to maintain many of the University's websites. He also is knowledgeable about best practices for properly planning and implementing website projects.
A fan of music, movies, science fiction and comic books, Jon is glad to consult with anyone at the University who is considering the web as part of their projects.
