Biography
Professor Wittig served as Dean of the School of Architecture & Community Development at University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ from 2011-2019, overseeing all academic programs as well as the Detroit Collaborative Design Center. He is currently serving as Past-President of the Michigan chapter of the American Institute of Architects as well as several other boards including the Detroit City of Design Stewardship Board.
Wittig earned a Masters of Architecture from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a professional Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Kansas. Prior to his appointment at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, Wittig taught for two years at the Taubman College at the University of Michigan, where he was a William A. Oberdick Fellow. He was also previously a founding partner of Crossings Architecture, Inc. in Detroit.
