Biography
In the mid-1990s, I spent several years working in Annual Giving at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. When my son, Ian, was born, I left to become a stay-at-home mom, and worked part-time during the years I was raising he and my daughter, Kiera. I spent time as a preschool teacher, volunteer coordinator and special event fundraiser for a small human service non-profit. I was very happy to have the opportunity to return to the University in 2017; I have the same job title I previously, held with a 21-year break in the middle.
My free time for many years was consumed with watching my kids participate in many athletic competitions. My husband and I travel around in the fall to watch our daughter play college volleyball for Washington and Lee University. I also plan to get involved in dog agility with our new puppy.
I am extremely happy to be at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, surrounded by an inclusive environment filled with enthusiastic and committed teachers and learners. I love the Jesuit mindset and mission, and truly enjoy the interactions I get to have with alumni and students on a daily basis.
