Jacek, Grace A.
Grace A. Jacek
Assistant Clinical Professor, McAuley School of Nursing, is full-time faculty across the graduate and undergraduate Nursing programs. She teaches primarily pathophysiology, in addition to acting as clinical faculty for Nurse Practitioner students. She has taught healthcare policy, nursing leadership, and nursing research. Jacek earned her B.S.N., M.S.N and Doctor of Nursing Practice from McAuley School of Nursing, University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and remains clinically active on a part-time basis. She is on the board of directors for the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is committed to student success in transitioning to the role of professional nurse and engages in legislative activity that promotes the interests of advanced practice nursing. She joined Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ faculty in 2016.

Joiner, Janet M.
Janet M. Joiner
Assistant Professor of Social Work and Department Chair, holds a doctorate from Wayne State University in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. Additionally, she holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Michigan University. She is founder of the Institute for Cyber Social Work, an organization dedicated to advancing digital social work practice while providing technological training and support services to social workers, human service organizations and academic institutions. Joiner has more than 10 years of college teaching experience as adjunct faculty in the Wayne State University School of Social Work where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses. She has nearly 29 years of professional administrative and clinical experience in higher education settings and most recently served as dean of Human Services, Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Education at Baker College of Clinton Township and Port Huron. She is also a member of the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and served as a member of NASW-Michigan Delegate Assembly. Her research focus is the integration of technology in social work practice and Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship in social work practice.

Janic, Ana
Ana Janic
Assistant Clinical Professor, teaches Clinical Periodontology and various didactic courses to predoctoral dental students, dental hygiene students. She also teaches Periodontics courses to residents. She received a D.D.S. from University of Belgrade in 2003. She received her M.S. in Periodontics from University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ in 2011. She is a Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology and has been teaching since 2013. She joined the university in 2015.

Jones, Karen
Karen Jones
Clinical Assistant Professor, currently serves as a clinic lead for the dental program. She received a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. She joined the university in 2012.

Joshi, Gnanada
Gnanada Joshi
Assistant Professor of Biology, earned a M.S. in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. from the Department of Biology, Wayne State University. Joshi was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, Wayne State University. Joshi is interested in studying the effects of low dose x-irradiation exposures in fruit flies and understanding the underlying DNA repair mechanisms associated with these exposures. Joshi joined the Biology department at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ in the fall of 2016 as an instructor and was recently re-appointed as an assistant professor in the fall of 2018. Within the department, Joshi teaches anatomy and physiology (lecture and laboratory courses), comparative anatomy (lecture and laboratory), applied nutrition, and advanced human anatomy to Pre-Health Professional students.

Juday, J. Bradley
J. Bradley Juday
Clinical Assistant Professor, eared a Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ School of Dentistry in 1994. He completed a General Practice Residency at Wayne State Medical and the DMC in 1995. He maintains private practice at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Dental's faculty practice. He joined the university in 1995.
