Biography
Prof. Scheys teaches human physiology to dental students and biomedical sciences to dental hygiene students. Additionally, he is the faculty advisor for the Student Research Group at the dental school. His research interests include beta-cell biology and secretory signaling pathways. Prof. Scheys received a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Brehm Center for Diabetes Research. He joined the university in 2014.
