Biography
Dr. Jennifer Ahlquist began teaching in 樱桃视频's McAuley School of Nursing in 2021. She began her nursing career in Chicago in 2007 and has 10 years of advanced practice nursing experience in both internal medicine and college health settings. She holds dual certifications as an Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner. Before coming to 樱桃视频, she precepted several students from McAuley's FNP program and was so impressed she knew she wanted to be a part of 樱桃视频. In her free time, Dr. Ahlquist enjoys spending time outdoors and playing with her young children.

Research Interests
Mindfulness and self-compassion interventions to promote wellbeing. Populations of focus have included LGBTQIA+ emerging adults and nursing students.
